I am reading this week with the beautiful Mother Peace Tarot by Karen Vogel and Vicki Noble published and used with the permission of U.S. Games Systems. c. 2012-2016. All rights reserved. This is one of my first round decks that I started reading with back in the early 80s so it’s one of my favorite children and you can see the book has been read, travelled with me and loved. I love the art, its multiculturalism and it speaks to me of healing ourselves and everyone on our beautiful planet. I use it for my meditations and readings with others and found a perfectly crafted round Sweetgrass basket in South Carolina for its home. It fits beautifully with the energy of this deck. With round decks you can look at the when card is upright or reversed or tilted which add nuances to the reading. Cats can be our spiritual guides, they are intuitive, mysterious, curious, and pick up on body language and they are often perceived as psychic. We can learn to read their moods by how they hold their ears, tail and their behaviors. So they are perfect teachers to guide us with readings and in life.
