Here are the vibes for the week!  On Thursday this week Mercury leaves Taurus and moves into Gemini.  It’s communications on steroids, a great time for brain storming with others and great ideas will come through.  These two chatterboxes can help you mentally stay positive and keep things moving in your brain.
Then at the end of the week we turn the page in our calendar to May, a 4 month in Numerology when you add the World Year for 2015 of 8 to the month of May a 5 equals 13 reducing to a single digit of 4.  The energy of this month is about squaring our corners as the expression goes, building a strong foundation, and taking or signing up for a class for fun or to further our education or thinking about teaching and sharing our expertise.  Organizing, prioritizing having patience and doing the work to get our goals accomplished, because our efforts will pay off.
This week I’m reading with the mystical Wisdom of the Hidden Realms by Colette Baron-Reid. There are magical beings, allies, protectors and advisors from the oldest cultures on Earth here from ancient myths and legends that walk between the worlds that form a sacred alliance to bring us messages for the highest good to help us fulfill our destiny and be reminded of the our truth and connection to Spirit.
For the beginning of the week I pulled The Arrow Master, it’s attributes are hitting the mark, intention and detachment. It came up reversed, so it’s our Challenger. We sometimes feel when cards come up reversed they are negative but they are designed to help look our inner work for our highest good. With the Arrow Master coming up as a Challenger, we might ask ourselves the "Why" of what we are pursuing. It is truly serving us for our highest and best for all concerned. The energy of this card also suggests we look at our intentions and are they in alignment with our truth and how we desire to feel. The energy suggests for us to slow down as life is not a competition. Maybe a bit of detachment can help us look at our current situation before we move forward. In the companion book it suggests “if we continue on our current path we may be shooting ourselves in the foot.” Ouch, there may be some things we want to reconsider. When the time is right we will know when to pick up our arrow and shoot for the stars without attachment to the outcome knowing it will hit the right mark.
The energy Midweek, The Resting Tree and it’s attributes are about patience and stillness. As an Ally, since the card is upright, whether we are looking at a relationship, project or our job, this card does not suggest action. In the painting a woman is protected and sleeping under the roots of the Resting Tree while the candles are burning down. Our culture does not always honor breaks or time out but it is essential for our emotional, physical and spiritual health. We can take a few minutes for meditation, taking a break to walk and explore nature, that holiday or vacation that is much needed even a staycation where we plan nothing and let the day unfold naturally. This is the time when we are still and creative ideas come to the surface. As in dreamtime, we receive the wisdom and messages for our questions, problems or challenges and then we awake we are ready to start our day. In the companion book it mentions an Ancient saying “We do without doing and everything gets done.”
At the end of the week, The Winged Wise Ones comes up and the attributes are angelic help, and miraculous aid. When this card appears it always comes up as an Ally. It speaks of Divine intervention from the Winged Wise Ones. Our prayers have been heard and are being answered. Just when we think something is impossible, we see signs and people come to our aid. They remind us that we are being watched over, to have faith and believing in miracles no matter what the outward appearances seem. It is also about being aware of our thoughts and words as they have vibrations too. This is the place where miracles appear. Are you ready for a miracle?
So our week is about looking clearly at our intentions and desires, knowing when it’s time to be still and not take action and having faith so the miracles will occur.

For this week’s reading I’m using the amazing and contemporary Voyager Tarot, by the legendary alchemist James Wanless, PH.D.  I also have a set of Baby Voyager to put in my pocket to travel with!  James is also the author of the Sustain Yourself Cards and many books including the Fortune Formula. If you have never heard James speak before, you are in for a treat.  He is filled with enthusiasm and his vibration is high and you will feel this from his cards.  James was a guest on our Radio show Personal Empowerment on the Attune Magazine Radio network.  I’ve included a link in the about section to listen in the Archives along a link to his website. He is also teaching a Voyager Reader Certification Course in May so you can check that out.  So let’s begin and see what’s in store for us this week.
For the beginning of the week I pulled The Woman of Cups, Rejoicer a court card and her element is Water.  The Woman in the card is moved and she has a feel of ecstasy as she immerses herself in all the beauty around her.  Her head is uplifted to feel the water on her face, hear the message from the shells and flowing with the tides, the fish and Moon’s cycles.  It’s a message of opening up our heart, rejoicing and feeling gratitude for the sweetness, beauty and mysteries of life.  These images are very tactile, how the flowers smell, how the the water feels on our face and body.  I love it when I swim in the ocean,  i feel the sensation of the fish brushing up against me.  So as we begin our week, let’s go out and be open to receive the beauty of the simple things, soak in all the sensations, Rejoice in life!
The energy Midweek, the Child of Crystals, the Learner another Court card comes out.   Crystals is the suit of Swords and it’s element is Air.  Like crystals, our minds are multi-faceted.  The child is shown is a cave in exploration of new ideas and allowing the mind to be curious.  And in the companion book, James writes about this card: “The mind is like a crystal cave….and the child symbolizes our exploration of how the mind works, examining old held beliefs, breaking through fears and letting go of old conditioned perspectives that hold us back.”
Midweek the energy encourages us to be curious, be the Learner, Explorer break free of any self-imposed or societal limitations, look at new alternatives, feed you mind with possibilities and feel the wonder of seeing the world through the eyes of a child, fresh and not afraid to experience new things.
And at the end of the week, the Devil’s Play came out, a card from the Major Arcana!  Maybe it a bit of that Mars in Taurus square with Jupiter in Leo energy!  As in every card, whether you read reversals or not, there is a potential and shadow side to each.  And in this card there are some misdeeds, drama, giving up on our self for another, and over indulgences that can be consequences of our actions.  So we will step carefully but on the positive note, these two Greek players in the Devil’s Play, show celebration after hard work, enjoying life through music, Pan playing his flute and the Pink Mushroom symbolizing expansion of our mind.   I love the Dionysian players exhibiting the art of celebration and as James so eloquently said it: “Once you have made the wine drink it, lift your spirits by passion and play and recreate yourself through recreation! Free yourself and become natural, spontaneous and original for life is a  Saturnian Harvest”   So this week has tremendous potential to Rejoice, Explore, and Celebrate while staying away from the actions that can lead us off the cliff.
