There is a lightness in this card and the colors are warm and inviting. As the Sun has moved into Aquarius this week and we are about to celebrate the Full Leo Moon tomorrow, we feel a different energy shifting and the light shining down upon us! The Four Of Wands traditionally is about celebrating a joyous occasion, a successful completion of a project, a new home or party, enjoying the joys of life. This week I’m reading with the exquisite The Cat’s Eye Tarot created by Debra M. Givin, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and the deck is published by U.S. Games, Inc. In the Minor Arcana, Debra uses Brown Tabbies for Pentacles, the sweet Black and Whites for Cups, the talkative Siamese for Swords and our favorite and flashy Red Tabbies for Wands. Cats can be our spiritual guides, they are intuitive, mysterious, curious, and pick up on body language and they are often perceived as psychic. We can learn to read their moods by how they hold their ears, tail and their behaviors. So they are perfect teachers to guide us with readings and in life.

In Pisces land our imagination can take flight, illusions, and there is emotional energy swirling around. There is something coming up from your subconscious, that may be in conflict with what is going on in your conscious mind. When this happens, you can feel a bit uncertain, look at what is real and what is illusion but the truth will be revealed to you. There is a saying from Tarot readers “The moon reveals what the High Priestess conceals.” The Moon speaks of cycles and changes, which can be challenging just like some of the energy we are feeling this month. Be comforted in that she is faithful in her cycles of light and shadow. Before I go to bed, I ask Spirit and the Angels what I need to know or direction to follow and then relax and look for the signs when I awake or during the week. At the end of the week, I pulled the Archangel Remiel, Card 28 from the Spiritual Journey Cards by Dyan Garris, http://dyangarris.com/ and Archangel Michael, Card 24 fell out so I felt both of these Angels had messages for us. Remiel helps you gain clarity, interpret your visions, and is an Angel of Hope and Compassion. You will see evidence of of compassion in your life and you will feel drawn to share that compassion with others. Remiel ’s other mission is to assist those making or who have made their transition, bring peace and calm along with helping them send messages back to those on the physical realm through visions and other signs.

Archangel Michael shows you he came forth to give you the strength and protection to cross over the bridge. He can assist you to cut away and release what has been blocking you with his cobalt blue sword, stepping into the Unknown; he is with you in prayer. Michael assists you to open the Indigo Door and teams up with Archangel Remiel to give you strength and protection to find the right time to act on your visions for the highest good of all. In the celestial realm on Sunday, the Moon and Mars conjunct in Scorpio, so there will be passion around topics and conversation. You might not feel the need to necessary think but just say it and it may involve things of the past since Mercury is about to go Retrograde on the 5th. So this gives us a heads so we won’t regret our words or actions. We have some ups and downs this week in Astrology and January is a slower month, but there is still much to accomplish so we might order up patience on the menu, because this gives us some time to make any readjustments that are needed. And with Mercury Retrograde, we are all in the same boat!
