Hi I’m Maggie Lukowski from Maggie Moon Tarot and here are the vibes for the week. Sunday, Venus conjuncts Neptune in Pisces which can be dreamy and magical, roses, candles and music. But things can be a bit hidden or idealistic so we need to keep our eyes open to the truth of the matter in the things we value and love. Then we transition into a Full Moon in the charming and entertaining Leo on Tuesday with a positive alignment with Jupiter the great benefactor and Uranus who expands our consciousness. So things that we have been working on get that extra star power. A celebration is in order. So on this Full Moon it’s time to play and roar. The Lion that represents Leo has a beautiful mane so it’s a good time to maybe get a little wild with our hair and try sometime fun. Anything you want to bless and infuse with the Leo energy place where the light of the Moon can shine upon it! Then on Friday, Jupiter will move in opposition to the Sun and will be closest to the Earth which allows us to take our ego out of things and reflect on our dreams and hopes for the future. And as we are still in Mercury Retrograde we have time to refine our plans. By taking this time, we build a good foundation to move ahead.
I’m reading this week with the exquisite and dreamy Victorian Romantic Tarot from Baba Studios in Prague, designed by Karen Mahony and illustrated by Alex Ukolov.
In the beginning of the week the Four of Cups come up. The card shows a man at a party disengaged, distracted, in a daydream not embracing what is being offered to him while everyone else seems to be having grand time. There is abundance here but we are not feeling it or what is being offered is not right for us. The suit of Cups are about our emotions and feelings. We may find ourselves with this feeling and often lost in our own thoughts, the dailyness of life, or nostalgic for the past that we don’t notice something that is presented to us. We might reconsider or decide to wait and know the Universe will send us the right opportunity for us at the right time when we are ready.
Midweek the Lovers card come up. In this deck there are two Lovers cards. One is the “Swept off her feet love”, a more active and sensual energy and the second Lovers’ card is one of Dante and Beatrice, perhaps a more idealistic love, a muse or someone or something that can bring you an inspiration. The one I pulled is, that of passion, desire, and that soul connection. The Lovers remind us we do have choices. What are we choosing not only in our relationships but in our life? Are we compromising by staying practical or going for our dreams. Are we coming from a place of going for what we think we can have, or going the distance for what we really want, that “Wild Want” a phrase that a favorite author of mine Tama Keives talks about in her book: A Year Without Fear
At the end of the week The Ace of Wands comes up! A winged messenger flying through the night sky amongst the stars carrying his torch of inspiration. It’s a call to taking inspired action. With this Ace it is a time of opportunities new and innovative ideas. A spark or torch is being passed. Opportunities in seeking out a change in career, advancement, or maybe starting your own business. For some it can be a message of rekindling that spark of a relationship, especially since the Lovers card comes before it or a new person is coming into your life. Where we started at the beginning of the week with with the Four of Cups, feeling a disengaged, we felt the passion of The Lovers and the suit of wands adds inspiration and fire power, to our life. Just like the Leo Full Moon, Wands, are a suit of charisma! Aces have their shelf life, this opportunity may not stay around forever. So pass the touch and don’t let the spark go out! Until we meet again next week, love much, laugh often, believe in miracles, create your own happiness, be kind and support each other. Tarot Reading for the Week of January 24, 2015 With The Mystic Faerie Tarot
Hi I’m Maggie Lukowski from Maggie Moon Tarot and here are the vibes for the Week. On Tuesday, Venus movies into Pisces. We have that lovely dreamy quality Pisces that brings to all around beauty and relationships. And since we are in Aquarius, it can also be daydreaming and those new and innovative ideas pop into our heads. We just have to distinguish what might be fantasy and what is actually real. Then on Friday, Mercury is in an inferior conjunction to the Sun, this is when Mercury is in retrograde and closer to the Earth than the Sun. And since this Mercury Retrograde is in Aquarius, we may have to rethink something related to an idea we had or redo some travel or plans around communication. It also can affect solar flares, geomagnetic activity this week so backup plans are important.
And for the reading this week, we will encounter the enchanted world and wisdom of the fae! I’m using the Mystic Faerie Tarot, by Barbara Moore and the artwork by Linda Ravenscroft. They will take us down the path to their garden and share their magic and transform our world. We start with a Faerie greeting, Faeries clever, Faeries bright, From garden, Wood and Pond, Guide my thoughts Guide my sight. Please help me Find the answers on a path that’s true and right. Let’s begin
For the beginning of the week, I pulled the the Three of Pentacles. This magical fairy is tending to her garden growing food and making room for beautiful flowers, just the ones to attract the butterflies like the one we see in the card. Just like this fairy, we have moved past the Two where we might have felt overwhelmed with all there was to be done but now we feel more confident that our work will produce good results and that we have all the skills we need and help. Just as the bees pollinate the flowers, and ladybugs help with pest in a garden, we have those helpers too that we can call upon this week. Finding ways to use nature as our ally in our work and most importantly finding the joy beauty in all that we do. Never losing that feeling of wonder and magic. I love to use flower essential oils and Flower Essences to enhance and boost my energy. This one is called Divine Flame, it’s Lilac, or Common Hedge from La Vie de la Rose’s Ascension collection. It helps with our spiritual growth in our everyday life and activities, knowing we are one with the Divine. It can also help us during a crisis or when we need healing. In Celtic culture it has been said that Lilacs are magical and can carry humans into the the elemental and fairy gardens.
Midweek, I pulled the Five of Cups. Fives are the midpoint in the Suit of Cups so we often find a challenge here. And since we are dealing with Cups, it’s all about our feelings and emotions. In this card a lovely nymph is crying and missing her elf friend she met in the garden. They had a difference of opinion and they both might have said somethings which were hurtful or had a difference opinion. Something may happen that she would like to share with him now but he is not here. She is now wishing they would might have worked harder on their friendship and not been so sensitive. Midweek we can be a bit oversensitive in our relationships and we have to figure out if it is something we are meant to let go or if it is something when given a bit of time will heal and the relationship can survive. Don’t isolate yourself during this time. You can always reach out for help from a professional or someone you trust. And there are our unseen Guides, Fairies, Elementals, Angels and the Divine that can give us messages. But most of all trust your intuition!
And at the end of the week, The Three of Cups came out. Here we see three water nymphs, on their adventure. They heard about the magical celandine, a flower, and it’s promise of true love. It was was a place between water and land where this Celandine grew from a water lily and a tiny Chalice formed from the flower and it produced a bubble like pearl. An handsome wood elf would come, they would eat the seed from the flower, they would be united, they would profess their love. But it also foretold of hardship and they would have to nurture their relationship. And our message from this card is love is exciting and beautiful. However long it lasts a week or a lifetime, there are treasured memories. We will encounter times when we need strength to get through the harder times in relationships of all kinds and wonder what were we thinking. It reminds us of our Venus and Pisces meetup this week and the dreamy feeling. Just keep our eyes open to the reality of the situation so we are able to evaluate things. Are the real or a bit of a lovely fantasy. All relationships take work and dedication and we just have to be sure if we are receiving the same back in return.
As the faeries bit us farewell, we can thank them for their time with us!

Tarot Reading for the Week of January 17, 2015 With The Wizards Tarot
A little magic for the week ahead! Astrology & Tarot Reading for the
Week of January 17, 2015 With The Wizards Tarot - The Sun Moves Into
Aquarius, The Super Moon & Mercury Retrograde!
Hi I’m Maggie Lukowski from Maggie Moon Tarot and here are the vibes for the Week. Tuesday, January 20th, the Sun moves into Aquarius! Happy Birthday Aquarius! You are the free spirits, innovators, humanitarians, like variety, have the gift of vision, and may welcome change. You may seem sometimes aloof but you head is pointed to the future and at the stars! The Star card in Tarot is associated to Aquarius and it’s planet is the Uranus who is not afraid to shake things up. And on the same day we experience the Aquarius New Moon, our first New Super Moon for 2015, one that is closest to the earth!. Aquarius makes this an excellent time to initiate new ideas, try something a bit unconventional while we make our New Moon wishes! Then on Wednesday, Mercury, in Aquarius, goes retrograde. All of Mercury’s retrogrades are in Air signs this year, so we pay extra attention to how we communicate, which includes social media, how we express our ideas. We may want to pad our schedules or projects with some extra time, be flexible, especially in travel and give any contracts or paper work that extra once over. Have that Plan A, B and C. If drama comes up, rather than react, we can just say, that’s interesting. Somethings can bounce back into our lives during a Retrograde too so it’s wise to re-examine those closely. It’s a good time take extra care and be more sensitive to our relationships as Aquarius can often be a bit cool. Also it make be a good practice during this retrograde to rethink things before we push off to something more exciting.
This week for the reading, I wanted to a add a little magic, so I chose the Wizard’s Tarot by Corrine Kenner and Illustrated by John J. Blumen. It welcomes you to Mandrake Academy, we step into it’s chambers and magical studies. My grandson who is now in college enjoyed the Harry Potter books along with my daughter and I. He went to a street fair one day and my daughter asked him what was it like. He said there were a lot of people like Grandma, those Harry Potter people, in the most endearing way that I will never forget. So let’s get and see what the characters in Mandrake Academy have to say.
The energy for the beginning of the week, The World card came up. A girl is holding a pendulum over a 3D book that is floating in the air which represents Mandrake Academy. She started as the Initiate and now has completed her studies. This is traditionally a card of completion of a cycle or project and celebrating what has been accomplished before we move forward. As we are in the phase of the Waning Crescent and Dark Moon, and before we start with Our New Moon wishes, we are closing our lunar cycle. A time to go inward and reflect on what that cycle has meant to us, what we accomplished and celebrate those things, what was left undone and maybe why, it might not be their season, and what we have released or still needs to be released before a new vision is on it’s way. As our world’s pace is fast and often leaves us little time to stop to reflect, I enjoy the practice of journaling and while being mindful of what Sun Sign and Moon phase we are in and how we can use those energies. The Waning Crest and Dark moon holds magic and messages from Spirit. Relax into the mystery.
The energy midweek, I pulled the Eight of Wands. The eight Wands are flying through the air in the night sky with the New Moon rising outside of Mandrake Academy. Wands inspire us, ignite our passion. With New Moons there is excitement in the air as we send our new moon wishes out and make our intentions. Things are set into motion. When we put desire around our intentions, it gives them fire power and we can take advantage of this Super Moon! Do take this opportunity to plant those new seeds and infuse our fire of desire into them. And send them out into the Universe And Believe! On a clear night look up at the night sky and see all the stars, everyones intentions yours and mine shining brightly and bless them all.
At the end of the week, The Hangman appears, the Professor of Runes. In the card is picture of the Professor is hung upside down with and a stained glass window is made of the Runic alphabet. Traditionally the Hangman can be one of sacrifice, find a different perspective, taking a pause. The Tarot card associated to the Hangman is Neptune. Neptune can help us see what is illusion and what is reality. There is a time after we plant our intentions and seeds, a patient time when gain perspective on what is happening around us. By taking a different view we can readjust and re-examine anything that needs a bit of tweeking. This is a space where new ideas come up when we are relaxed and not rushing things. It’s perfect timing for Mercury Retrograde as this is not a bad thing. Our minds and bodies can’t be on 24/7. We need time to slow things down. This might be a fun time to try you hand with a new divination study, the Runes, Pendulum or other methods. Pendulums can be use for more than just yes/no answers. They can be used to find things, pick tarot or oracle cards for the day, or doing a body scan or chakra balancing or seeing how something feels to you before making a decision! You can purchase, make your own pendulum or use a necklace or found object that is balanced. The key is finding one that you are drawn to and works with your energy.

Tarot Mini Reading - Eight of Cups - Druid Craft Tarot
And at the end of the week the Eight of Cups, a hooded man walking up the steep path leaving behind 8 cups. The 8 of cups can be about completing a cycle, it’s time to more on. 8 in Numerology is about manifestation and is the World Year number for 2015. Sometimes we have to leave something behind to birth something new. Since it’s element is water or cups, we can be looking at a part of us that needs more fulfillment and it’s time to move forward. Even though the path may be steep, this cycle is finished. As we are in a 9 month in Numerology, one of bringing completion to aspects of our life so we can fill our hearts with what calls to us. Sometimes that is the hardest thing, to let go of a person, place or situation but it ultimately leads us to the highest good for all concerned.
And since this reading spoke of balance, I have two stones that I use in my meditation and in my Reiki and healing practice to bring back balance. They are called Shaman Stones or Moqui Balls and they are found at the base of Navajo Sandstone formations and have been found on several continents in the ancient archaeological excavations. The outer shell of hematite, iron oxide, congealed around a sandstone center. They are calming stones to hold and can help with excessive energy and release back into the earth. They help in balancing our emotions, ground us, have beautiful vibrations for healing, can be used for Shamanic Journeying, and protection. They are inexpensive so you might like to try working with these.

Tarot Mini Reading - The Alchemist
The card that comes up midweek is the Fferyllt, or Temperance in the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. a Druid Alchemist that combines different elements to bring a creative balance into being. In the card Brigid, the Goddess of the Flame, triple goddess ruling healing, poetry, and smith craft is blending a red and white liquid over her cauldron. Her herbs are drying from the rafters with the magical fairy stones or hag stones for protection. She can be our Ally after going through the balancing act with Two of Pentacles, learning to blend the different parts of our world to come up with an Alchemical mix that brings us in balance. She reminds us of the goddess in us that holds that magic, of regeneration, creativity, and illumination to bring beauty, transformation into our lives and to keep our fire burning. So this can be an auspicious sign for our week that we will be our own Alchemist along with maybe a little help from someone that we meet.

Tarot - The Moon in Libra and Two Of Pentacles
The Moon in Libra & Two of Pentacles - Find the balance and that sweet spot today! Maggiemoontarot.com - Two of Pentacles from The Druid Craft Tarot - For the beginning of the week, I pulled the Two of Pentacles. Twos are about choices, relationships, balance, and Pentacles about about the physical things, things we can see and touch, money and practical matters in our life. The lady in the card is juggling two coins almost a bit playfully while a storm is raging behind her but you will notice that the sky is starting to clear near her. We may find ourselves this week juggling and trying to bring balance in our lives, trying not to drop the ball as the expression goes. Our feeling might not be a light as hers. It can be around our finances, for some it can be balancing two jobs, relationships. From her expression and body language she feels she can do this for for a bit, knowing this too will pass. Our thoughts create our landscape or state of being so we can change that to get through this period. So we might look at how we can do this through meditation, focusing on one thing at a time and give that our attention, carving out time on our schedule for ourselves, even if it means getting up a little earlier, like the expression goes, chop, wood and carry water, to be more fully present in our work which will bring us to the celebration that the Three of Cups brings. #Tarot #Moon #Libra #Balance #maggiemoontarot

Tarot - Page of Cups - The Fish Footman from The Alice Tarot
A sweet indulgence may just come your way!
Tarot - Page of Cups - The Fish Footman from The Alice Tarot - And the vibes for the end of the week, the Page of Cups comes knocking on our door. Here we see the Fish Footman delivering a croquet invitation from the Queen of Hears with her signature red heart on it. Pages can be messengers and they are the younger energy of the Court cards and be a bit dreamy. The suit of Cups express, emotions, feelings, intuition, desires and love. This comes at the same time Mercury meets up with Venus in Aquarius. So we can find some unexpected love encounters or emotional messages delivered and curious invitations. Don’t take it all too seriously, but definitely have fun with it knowing it may be the beginning of some wonderful, meeting someone new or it may be just a sweet indulgence that comes along to enjoy.

Tarot - The Caterpillar- The Hierophant- Alice Tarot
Midweek the Hierophant appears represented by the Caterpillar resting on top of a giant mushroom and smoking a hookah pipe This card speaks of rules, convention, standing on tradition teaching or learning. In the story the Caterpillar is always giving advice and there is a bit of hubris about him, a bit of a know it all and he speaks in riddles. He asks Alice to recite a poem which he quickly tells her she is doing it all wrong, then tells her that that eating different sides of the mushroom will make her smaller or tall and she can’t quit get that right either We may come upon someone this week or a group who like the Caterpillar, seems to come from a place of authority and shakes us up a bit and can throw us off balance. It usually happens on a day or time when we are feeling a bit unsure of ourselves or have gone thru a rough patch. So we may want to evaluate if we really want to be a part of this energy. We know who we are, so no one can really shake us up or take our power away unless we allow it.
